Freeriding Titles

  • 2015 IFSA 15-18 Women's Snowboarding Champion

Describe a highlight moment from your 2015 IFSA season.

I had so many great stops this season it's hard to say. Landing my air in the finals and winning the IFSA Championship at Targhee was the best. Standing on the podium with a great competitor from France made it an even better experience. I also made great friends from Winter Park and other teams along the way.

Where can you be found when you are not freeriding?

I'm always snowboarding, but if I'm not I'm working to influence young women to get into snowboarding and freeride/SBX competitions. I believe in the brands and products that I use, and I enjoy sharing that passion with other riders. You can also find me hiking or biking the Wasatch front on a regular basis. Gettin' busy livin'.

What topic makes you fired up?

Snowboarding, snowboarding, snowboarding, snowboarding, snowboarding!

What would you like to see change in the world and how can you make it happen?

I'm very concerned about global warming and the negative impact on our great sport and the industry as a whole. We can argue whether it's caused by men & women all day, but it's real. I see it changing the way we all plan our year and ride the terrain, or should I say lack of it. I would like to represent snowboard and related companies to promote the sport and help to keep the issue at the forefront.

Tell us something about yourself that is unusual or little known.

I'm a midwest native and have been boarding and skiing for 10 seasons.

Shout Outs

First and foremost I'd like to thank my mom and dad. They moved me from Chicago 10 years ago and it changed my world. They embrace the sport and gave 100% to make sure my brother's and I could participate fully. I also want to thank my head coaches Jacob Levine and Lane Clegg for believing in me and pushing me daily. Lane opened my eyes to SBX and the possibilities there. I certainly don't want to forget Lizzy Beerman and Stephen Denmark. You guys are awesome! And lastly my brother Connor for always being there for me, on the mountain and off.
